[I say that Julie says that Steven says that Mark says….]

The happycatholic.blogspot.com reports that:
www.decentfilms.com reports that:
Catholic writer Mark Shea tells an anecdote about a college bull session among students at Central Washington University over The Da Vinci Code.
“Even if it’s just fiction,” a student opined,
“it’s still interesting to think about.”
To which another student replied:
“Your mother’s a whore.”
And then, to the first student’s stunned incredulity, he added,
“And even if that’s just fiction,
it’s still interesting to think about.”

Hi Father,

Well yes, that was truly shocking! But I know you, so I continued and read the post. What a great come-back, eh? This one will stick in my memory for a while.

Thanks

Sorry for the shock!

However, it made the point, didn't it, eh?

My son goes to CWU. I wish he was the one that said that (the comeback that is).

If children were not present at Mass, I would give in to the tempation to use it in a homily.

Fr. Stephanos,
That's what we have blogs for! To say things that we can't say in homlies due to the presence of children!
