The earth is the Tabernacle of Christ...

... and so are we.

Click on the following to view a short Catholic video that is well done, prayerful and inspirational.

Is this an excerpt from "Fishers of Men"?

I got the DVD to show in class. When the wifey previewed it, she cried.

I read somewhere that the filmaker agreed to make the film if the USCCB kept their hands off it. Maybe the USCCB is starting to turn around.

This is the God in the Streets of New York one. It's not from Fishers of Men but it is made by the same people (Grassroots).

Very well done. Powerful images.
Not being catholic, what are they carrying? I have some vague memory that it contains the blood of Christ? But would like to know what it's called, and if that is right. It looks like the sun...

Etayne, the sun-like instrument they are carrying has a glass windown in the center. Behind the glass the priest puts one of the flat, unleavend "bread wafers" that the Catholic Church consecrates during Mass. With that consecration during Mass, we understand that while the wafer continues to appear the same, it is no longer bread, but truly and really and substantially the personal flesh of Christ-- the Body of Christ.
