Indeed. We should be nice to Fr. Finigan today. It's probably a good idea to be nice to him every day though. Maybe we should be extra nice today.
I am sure that the Masses in the church are very reverent but the blue lines make it look as if the walls are tiled as in a bathroom.
Sharon, that's just the grotty photo. Trust me, the church itself is really tastefully decorated. And the Lady Altar (not shown here, unfortunately) is stunning - the marble was salvaged from another parish which was being wreckovated...
the Masses are indeed reverent. We even get to kneel at the altar rails, and Saturday Masses are said at the Lady Altar (ad orientem) followed by Exposition and a Holy Hour.

As to the blue lines - well, at least they are more Marian than the turquoise lines I inherited. That made it look like "Seaworld"!
Blue or Turquoise ... our Lady of Guadalupe would be pleased.
Seaworld? Well, that's here in San Diego.
