FODDER. [noun] food, especially dried hay or feed, for cattle and other livestock.

The fodder of ox and ass was Christ’s first earthly bed.

He is now fodder for sinners.

St. Stephen, knew it.

“Stephen” comes from the Greek word for “crown”, stéphanos.

Today is the feast of St. Stephen the First Martyr.

I have posted a homily for the occasion.
