Father, what exactly does abandoned mean here. I looked at their website but didn't see any additional information about these children. Were they aborted? Were they born and then left on the street? Trying to get a grip on the situation here.

The website indicates each abandoned baby receives a name from the organizers of the Garden of Innocence. It seems to me that these are babies who have been left to die exposed, not aborted babies.
